My car tire popped on my way to conestoga lake. This taught me to fight through adversity, because I was alone and I changed a tire without the assistance of anyone for the first time.

The 4 wheeler risking my summer job

My ATV (4 wheeler) is not in a stable working condition. It risked my summer job opportunity. I had to overcome adversity and learn how to fix the 4 wheeler. 

The coffee shop

With my dad owning a coffee shop, it’s very stressful. Especially when the corona virus cuts off 50% of their income. This stresses my dad out which makes us all overcome the adversity of being on edge.

Bad tenants

My dad, also being a landlord, has to deal with tenants that aren’t always the best. When he has to deal with them, especially when it’s about them not paying rent, it causes immense stress and makes the family dynamic very unstable. We have to learn to live with this adversity.

Online Classes

With online classes as our new reality, it is hard to see it as school. Instead we get distracted and don’t perform at our best, this form of adversity has affected my grades this quarter and I wish I could have performed better.
